How will British people cope with their reduced status in the world ?

I mean, c'mon, we all know the British can be pretty arrogant or misbehaved abroad. But now, Britain is no loner the rich country we thought it was, though I know they are still pretending we are. I mean, the Indians own Jaguar cars now and have been buying up and shutting our steel works. We are terrified to offend the Saudis or Kuwaities lest they withdraw their money from London. And the UAE boys have just taken over Harodds.....from an Egyptian. Surely it would behove the British to be a little more humble in the future. Oh yes, and the economic powerhouse that is Brazil is creating 5 new millionaires a DAY !!!! Now expats are coming home from Spain 'cos they can't afford to live there due to the Pounds loss in value. It's all very sad. Will we adjust? Especially as Martin Sorrell has now said we are the economic equivalent of Leyton Orient Football Club ( who...exactly !!! )
